Accessibility Statement

King Solomon Trust  is a legally registered organization in the State of Israel, and its objectives are listed and approved by law: establishing educational institutions such as schools and preschools, as well as extracurricular activities and enrichment in all areas of knowledge and pedagogy.

The Trust is committed to making the school facilities accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. This includes full accessibility to all classrooms, annexes, offices, and halls in the preschool, primary school, middle school, and high school of King Solomon. This also extends to the website and its content, in order to provide every individual with a high-quality pedagogical experience throughout all educational stages offered by the school.

King Solomon Trust believes in equal rights and equal opportunities, and therefore works to promote accessibility across all its institutions, making them suitable for the entire population of Israel, as specified by law and accessibility regulations.

Parking for People with Disabilities:

• Primary School Parking: There is designated parking for disabled vehicles with direct access to the school premises.
• Lift: The primary school has two buildings with 3 and 2 floors. The eastern building has an accessible lift providing direct access to every floor in both the eastern and western buildings.
• Preschool Parking: The preschool  does not have adjacent parking, but public parking is available throughout the village. The entrance to the preschool is at the same level as the path and roads leading to it.
• High School and Middle School Parking: The temporary parking area adjacent to the middle school and high school is a public space under the authority of the Kfar Hayarok village. There is designated parking for disabled individuals near the accessible entrance to the premises. You can coordinate the opening of the door near the parking area with the school office at 073-234-2030.

For those entering through the main entrance to the middle school and high school, accessibility to all classrooms and rooms within the premises is provided, except for operational areas. If needed, you can request assistance from the operational staff of the premises or ask the security guard at the entrance to call for help.

• Ramp: In the middle school, there is a wheelchair-accessible ramp between the upper and lower levels, located to the north of the central path (right side when entering the premises).
• Accessible bathrooms: Each facility has accessible bathrooms suitable for individuals with disabilities.

Website Accessibility

Website accessibility is carried out according to the schedule defined by regulations, in compliance with the Israeli Standard for Accessibility 5568 and the international W3C guidelines for AA level.

Where to Manage Website Accessibility?

In the bottom right corner of the website, there is an “Accessibility” button. Clicking this button will open a menu offering various types of accessibility options available on the site. After selecting the desired type of accessibility and clicking on it, the website will load in an accessible mode. To disable accessibility features, click “Disable Accessibility” also found in the menu.

Main Adjustments:

• Colors: Adjust contrast based on dark and/or light backgrounds. Site adaptation for color blindness.
• Keyboard: Navigation via keyboard.
• Website Content:
  • Accessibility of images on the site.
  • Accessibility of menus on the site.
  • Font size adjustment to various sizes.
  • Website adaptation for assistive technologies.
